Information you provide
The finder processes fabric type, amount, unit, skill level and any optional width, weight or stretch selections. These inputs are used in your browser to calculate results.
Anonymous product analytics
The production site sends a small set of allowlisted events to a Cloudflare Analytics Engine dataset: page view, finder start, finder submission, results view, original pattern click and helpful/not-helpful feedback. Event properties may include fabric category, a rounded amount band, result count, score band, pattern identifier and campaign source.
The custom event endpoint does not intentionally store an IP address, user-agent string, account identifier, free text or stable visitor identifier. Cloudflare also provides privacy-oriented Web Analytics for aggregate pageview, visitor and performance reporting. Cloudflare may process request information as part of hosting and security operations under its own policies.
Local storage
The browser keeps up to 100 recent product events under the key sewIdeasEvents for debugging the beta. This stays on the device unless the user clears site data. It is not used to create an account or advertising profile.

Pattern result links open third-party websites. Those sites have their own privacy, cookie and advertising practices. Sew Ideas does not control them.
Advertising and cookies
Sew Ideas does not currently serve display advertisements. If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, this page will be updated before ads are served. Advertising providers may use cookies, local storage and personal data to deliver, measure or personalize ads. Where required, users in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland will be shown a Google-certified consent management message before personalized advertising is enabled.
